Birmingham-based indy Tindal Street Press is to join forces with Atlantic Books, with the larger company representing all the smaller's titles through the Independent Alliance. Starting from January next year, Tindal Street - publisher of Astonishing Splashes of Colour and What Was Lost - will move its sales, distribution and export representation from Turnaround to Atlantic.
Publishing director Alan Mahar said: "This exciting sales and distribution partnership marks a big step forward for Tindal Street’s publishing ambitions."
"There is of course sadness in leaving Turnaround, which has championed our books for the last decade. But by associating our name with Atlantic’s impeccable trade profile and expertise we will now be able to present our fiction more strongly to the market."
